Pre-Admission Testing

Preparing For Your Surgery

Your doctor may order pre-operative tests to assist in screening and preparing you for surgery. This may include laboratory work such as specific blood tests, EKG or imaging and radiology testing. You may have these tests performed at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center -Frisco or Baylor Scott & White Medical Center -Urgent Care Frisco. It is important to have pre-testing completed preferably 2-3 days before surgery. Your surgery may be delayed without these required test results.

For your convenience, any test required before your surgery may be performed at either location below.   Please call 214-407-5166 to make an appointment.  When you arrive, please have with you:

• A valid photo ID and your insurance card

• Names, dosages and frequencies of current medications

• All paperwork from your surgeon’s office pertaining to the surgery, which may include:

–Physician orders
–Consent forms
–History and physical
