Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Frisco
The Materials Management Tech is responsible for procuring all hospital supplies, excluding food and drugs. The responsibilities of the position include receiving, stocking, and case-pulling supplies. Also assisting Accounts Payable with receivables. Other duties as assigned by the Materials Manager.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Two years minimum of purchasing experience in a health care environment preferred.
- Customer Service
- Type a minimum of 40 wpm preferred
- Computer experience helpful
- Able to deal tactfully with the public and other staff members
- Must possess the ability to prioritize responsibilities and handle multiple projects simultaneously
