We are open seven days a week from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm with board-certified emergency physicians, compassionate staff, and dedicated parking for easy access.    Our urgent care provides:
 
  • Quality care for non-emergent injuries and illnesses.
  • Team of board-certified physicians and practitioners who specialize in emergency medicine.
  • Services will include stitches and x-rays, as well as treatment for fractures, sprains, burns, and illnesses like the flu and strep throat.
  • Prompt service designed to accommodate patients efficiently.
  • A referral coordinator can assist with follow-up appointments to see a specialist or primary care physician and even help with the continuation of care.
  • Walk-ins are welcome, and most insurance plans are accepted.
  • Sports Physicals available! $25 flat fee, no insurance required.

But if you find yourself needing medical attention after normal business hours, urgent care is typically your best option.

Urgent care is a type of medical practice that provides a facility that treats patients for injuries and illnesses that aren’t emergencies, but are urgent and need care within 24 hours. If a patient has an issue that is life-threatening or is in danger of losing a limb they need to go to an emergency room. In cases such as chest pain, or symptoms of a stroke it is recommended to get to an emergency room as soon as possible.

Urgent care conditions can be issues such as:

  • Eye irritation

  • Vomiting
  • Skin irritation
  • Wounds

Urgent care is a great resource for medical issues that are moderately serious that have to be cared for within 24 hours.

Whether or not an urgent care center provides STD testing depends on the practices of the establishment. Yes, some urgent care centers do provide tests for sexually transmitted diseases such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, HIV, AIDS, and syphilis. However, just because one urgent care will provide this type of testing, does not mean that they all do. The best way to determine whether or not an urgent care facility will do the tests is to call them and ask.

Many of the urgent care facilities that are available to the public provide COVID-19 testing if they have the supplies to do so. For the most part, when a patient is showing symptoms of infection such as fever and cough an urgent care facility will test them. However, it is best to call beforehand and make sure that they are testing and that they have tests available.

Most urgent care centers will be equipped with the staff and the materials needed to provide stitches for patients that need them. Since urgent care is a specialty that is for patients that need care for urgent injuries it is typically that every urgent care facility will be able to stitch up moderately serious cuts and wounds.
