Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Frisco
Under the supervision of the Plant Operations Director, the EVS Manager is responsible for the overall management of the EVS department. Duties include:
- Management, education, and scheduling of staff
- Develop the direction, vision, and goals of the EVS department
- Develop and maintain departmental policy and procedure
- Manage department budgets
- Manage departmental reports
- Manage departmental safety
- Manage regulatory compliance with all agencies that govern EVS
Qualifications:
- Completion of high school education or equivalent preferred. Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions.
- 5 years of supervisory/managerial experience in Environmental Services is preferred.
- Must be able to establish policy and procedure.
- Possess the ability to manage staff and staff schedules.
- Understands and ensures staff follow established cleaning methods in performing daily tasks.
- As a working manager, possesses the ability to perform routine repetitive cleaning of assigned patient rooms, offices, restrooms, and other areas.
- Must be able to keep all equipment in good working condition.
- Possess the ability to perform periodic or situational duties as assigned byDirector.
- Good interpersonal/communication skills, written and oral.
- Must have computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
