Peri-Operative Registered Nurse Internship 6:30AM – 3:00PM Monday – Friday Full Time
Baylor Medical Center at Frisco is seeking motivated, high-energy candidates for our January 2023 Peri-Op RN Fellow Program. The program is geared toward new graduates with a strong interest in Perioperative nursing as well as experienced RN’s with the goal of becoming a Perioperative RN.
The Fellowship is a paid, full-time, blended learning program utilizing the AORN PeriOp 101 Core Curriculum. The curriculum includes interactive online modules, textbook content, technique videos and study guides, plus hands-on skills labs, group activities, and a clinical practicum. The program prepares the RN to develop and implement an individualized plan of care based on global assessment, surgical procedure, surgeon preferences and desired patient outcomes.
