As we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic together, we are continually developing new protocols with your safety and convenience in mind. We have implemented expanded patient and visitor precautions, including visitation and mask policies and screening at entry points.
COVID Vaccine
For patients who had their vaccine scheduled STRICTLY at Baylor Frisco at 5601 Warren Parkway, the following is true. However, if you were scheduled at Baylor Scott and White STAR Vaccine Hub, please keep your original appointment unless specifically told by Baylor Scott & White Health.

Baylor Scott and White Medical Center Frisco will provide updates regularly regarding vaccine availability as additional vaccines arrive. Updates will be posted to the hospital website at www.baylorfrisco.com and can be found by clicking on the red banner located at the top of the webpage.
COVID Testing
Baylor Frisco is not performing testing unless an individual is scheduled to have a procedure at our facility or a partner facility, please speak to your physician about scheduling. Testing facilities are available throughout the local area.
Mask Policy
All patients and visitors must wear a mask over their nose and mouth upon arrival to our facility. Limited exceptions include:

Children under the age of two

Anyone who has trouble breathing

Anyone who is unconscious, incapacitated, or unable to remove the mask without assistance
Visitors
To protect the safety of our patients and staff, and in accordance with new local regulations surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, Baylor Frisco has an amended visitor policy. Visitors must be over the age of 16. and the following are allowed:

Procedure/Surgical Patients – 1 visitor

Labor / post-partum patients – 1 visitor

NICU patients – both parents

Patients receiving end-of-life care – additional visitors with administrative approval

Patients under 18 – both parents

Patients with a disability requiring additional assistance – 1 visitor

As otherwise determined by our hospital leadership

Facility Screening
All staff, visitors, or patients entering the facility will be screened including a temperature check. Those with a temperature at or above 100.0 will not be permitted to enter at this time.
We continue to conduct a short screening for patients and those visitors who meet our visitor exception criteria. This screening is based on CDC guidelines for identifying respiratory illnesses including coronavirus (COVID-19).:
