Nurse Educator Quality Analyst – Women’s Services Full-Time

Summary:

The RN Educator/ Quality Analyst works in collaboration with the Women’s Services management team, the Quality department and IS department. The RN will help develop and facilitate education to maternal care staff, physicians and patients. As the educator, the RN will facilitate the orientation of new employees to the unit and assist with competency validation of the staff. The RN will assist the Quality department with reviewing the medical records and collecting data for compliance measures. The RN will assist with special projects and hospital initiatives as assigned by the Director of Women’s or Neonatal Services and Chief Nursing Officer.

Qualifications:

• Current Board of Texas RN license
• BSN degree
• Minimum of 3 years in Labor & Delivery
• Minimum of 5 years in their area of expertise
• Excellent communication and customer service skills required
• Requires minimal supervision and is self-motivated
• Computer skills with Word, Excel, Power Point
• Able to manage multiple priorities
