Culinary Kitchen Steward – PM / Full-time, 5:00p – 12:30a, Monday – Friday
The PM Kitchen Steward is responsible for care of the kitchen and dining environment including cleaning, sanitizing, trash removal, and floor care. This individual performs a variety of routine cleaning functions and assignments as directed by the Culinary Services Director. The PM Kitchen Steward follows food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Must be able to read, write and follow instructions in English
- Preferred: School education (diploma) or equivalent
- Previous experience in a high volume restaurant, hospital, or kitchen preferred, but not required.
- Obtain food handler certification within 60 days of start date.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen cleaning and sanitation.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance.
