They sure are cute, but they don’t come with instructions. Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Frisco offers a variety of classes designed to help parents prepare for their new addition. We encourage you to take as many courses as you can. Classes are complimentary for patients delivering at our facility.
In order to access these classes, please register for your birth on our website here. Our Women’s Services Department will then provide you with a unique login code to access the courses.
This one evening workshop prepares men to be dads in all respects and is just for dads. We will address issues including preparation for labor, newborn care, rekindling intimacy following delivery, and signs of postpartum depression. The class is led by a male physician and/or pediatrician. Dads-to-be enjoy the opportunity to address their concerns and fears about fatherhood whether they’re first-time fathers or have previous experience at fatherhood.
