Bariatric Support Group

Bariatric Surgery Support Group Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 6 pm.  They are free, there is no need to register, and are open to the public.  A speaker is featured at each meeting who presents information about a weight loss surgery journey-related topic for about 30-40 minutes, followed by a Q & A session. A dietitian and our Bariatric Coordinator attend each meeting. 

Research has shown that patients who attend a support group tend to have better outcomes than those who do not.  Attendees benefit from the information shared by the presenter, and from the interactions, they have with others who are on the same journey to health that they are navigating.
